McMackin Law was founded in the late 1980s by Alan McMackin, a litigator with a career spanning over 100 trials including an appearance before the Supreme Court of Canada. Alan’s reputation was built on straightforward advice, tenacity in the courtroom, and a genuine commitment to his clients.
In 2014, Ryan McMackin joined the firm. Ryan trained under Alan from day one and unlike many lawyers who spend years on the sidelines before seeing a courtroom, Ryan was conducting trials from his very first year of practice. Alan has since moved on to serve as a Deputy Judge. Ryan runs the firm today, carrying forward everything that made McMackin Law worth choosing in the first place: real experience, honest advice, and a lawyer who actually shows up to fight for you.
