Ryan McMackin is a civil litigation and employment lawyer based in Bowmanville, Ontario, with offices serving Durham Region and Northumberland County. He has been practising law for over 11 years, and has handled hundreds of matters from start to finish including trials in Small Claims Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and appearances before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
Ryan graduated from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and articled directly under his father Alan McMackin, one of the most experienced litigators in Ontario. While many lawyers spend their entire careers without seeing the inside of a courtroom, Ryan has been conducting trials since his very first year of practice. That experience shows.
Ryan now runs McMackin Law. His practice focuses on civil litigation including partnership / shareholder disputes, contract disputes, debt collection, real estate litigation and business law as well as employment law. He serves clients across Durham Region, Northumberland County, and throughout Ontario.
