McMackin Law was started in the late 1980’s by Alan McMackin. Over time due to the success of Alan’s litigation practice he was able to purchase numerous properties throughout Durham, Clarington and Northumberland County. Alan was a tenacious advocate for his clients. He argued before the Supreme Court, was successful in dozens and dozens of trials and was appointed as a Deputy Judge in 2004. In, 2014 Alan’s oldest child Ryan joined the practice full time upon completion of law school. Ryan is a cost-effective Oshawa Lawyer you can trust.
Alan was quick to allow Ryan to handle all aspects of cases. During his first year of practice Ryan was successful in his first trial. These opportunities have allowed Ryan to quickly grow as a litigation lawyer. In 2019, Alan retired from the practice of law and now only sits as a Deputy Judge. Ryan now runs the law practice with the support of Alan’s mentoring and guidance.

Ryan maintains the belief that one of the keys to long term success is client communication. He will provide you his personal business number when you meet with him. By maintaining high levels of communication Ryan believes that client satisfaction levels significantly increase. All to often he has met with clients who have told him of their prior experiences where their lawyer was never available for them.
