Alan became a lawyer in 1978. He went on to spend the next several years honing his litigation skills with the Federal Business Development Bank and subsequently formed a partnership with Sims Brady. As Alan’s skills and abilities continued growing, he decided in the late 1980’s to open his own General Litigation practice in Whitby. In 2016 Alan moved his practice to Bowmanville.
Alan became a Deputy Judge in 2004. After a 40-year litigation career consisting of upwards of 100 Trials, including appearing before the Supreme Court of Canada and 100’s of satisfied clients Alan retired from the practice of law in 2019. He still acts as a Deputy Judge. Alan spent the final 5 years of his career training and mentoring his son Ryan.
